COLLEGE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Overview The Clear Channel Radio College Internship Program is designed to provide practical, on-the-job experience to students interested in pursuing careers in broadcasting and related fields. The program is year-round and may be adapted to students on both semester and quarter systems. Internships are generally limited to two one semester/quarter, but may be extended to two with supervisor and school approval. The internship is unpaid. Hours Interns will generally work 15 to 20 hours per week. Most schedules are flexible, and efforts are made to accommodate school schedules where possible.
Eligibility A prospective intern must be a student (Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student) currently enrolled in an accredited college and/or university with at least a 2.5 (C+) cumulative grade point average. THE STUDENT MUST BE RECEIVING COURSE CREDIT FOR THE INTERNSHIP. Students are required to provide "proof of credit" for the internship from their college or university.
Selection/Placement The student should submit a resume with a cover letter to Clear Channel Radio indicating in which department within the station he or she is most interested in working. The cover letter should also indicate dates and times of availability.
